Working in Partnership
We’re starting close to home, working in partnership to make educational reform a reality, and we need your help.
Acadia University: ACSBE’s Home and Mission Field
As a non-profit affiliate of Acadia University, we have the best of both worlds – we’re viewed as being connected to the university yet we are not officially part of the academic community of the institution.
Our value lies in being entrepreneurial practitioners who can connect Acadia to the world around it. And given we are essentially ‘non-academics’ we rely on partnerships and relationships with ‘champions’ on campus who share the vision for entrepreneurial education.
At Acadia we desire to continue, what has been to date, a successful exercise in educational reform. We endeavour, with champions of the cause internal to the university, to change a system and convince those that are a part of it, that entrepreneurial skills should be developed in today’s graduates and integrated entrepreneurial programming is the best approach. We want to affect change and buy-in from all directions in the system – faculty, staff, administration and students. Exciting initiatives are underway to accomplish this, including:
• Expanding the Concept of Entrepreneurship
• Co-curricular Transcript
• The Acadia Challenge Campaign
• Entrepreneurial Competitions
